Attis Winery is located in the heart of Rias Baixas wine region in “Val do Salnés”. A privileged location whose land gives life to our vineyards. It is precisely our environment together with the tradition and the know-how inherited for three generations that define the essence of our wines: authentic, traditional and Atlantic. The winemaking process of our wines starts caring for the vineyard to the harvest and vinification all characterized by a deep respect to the varietal. The Atlantic character of our albarino wines is part of our essence. The Atlantic provides high salinity to the wines made from different indigenous varietals in the Rías Baixas wine region, and this factor is particularly accentuated in Val do Salnés sub-region. The humid climate, the mild temperatures and the predominantly granite terroir are common and clearly influential factors in Rías Baixas wines.

Lias Finas is produced from a selection of 50-year-old vineyards all facing and heavily influenced by the Atlantic Ocean.  The vines are planted to soils comprising granitic entisols (with strong sand and clay characteristics). Carefully selected grapes are hand-harvested and are brought to the winery for destemming. The must is then given extended time to settle (‘debourbage’); reducing the need to extensively fine and filter before bottling. Alcoholic fermentation is carried out under controlled temperatures of 12-15ºC. The wine is then left to age on lees in stainless steel tanks and oak vats for a period of 6 months where battonage (lees stirring) is implemented. The wine undergoes very limited fining and filtration prior to bottling.
 
Taste: A bright, vibrant, and charming Albariño from Rías Baixas. The wine is defined by distinct notes of ripe peach, apricot, and lemon zest; the fruit is followed by layers of crunchy white flower petals, parmesan cheese, and sea salt. The wine is dry, medium-bodied, with elevated acid and slight phenolic bitterness.

Food Matching: Enjoy with scallops on the half shell, blistered Padrón peppers (finished with sea salt), and grilled razor clams.
