This is a classic expression of Primitivo; dry, full-bodied, rich in flavour. Ripe and dark fruit drives the wine showing notes of black cherry, blackberry, plums and cassis. There is a warm, baked earth note to the wine with underlying notes of smoky cigar box, camphor and sandalwood. The finish is long with finely integrated tannins and a lingering note of dark bitter chocolate. |
