Nonni Sauvignon Blanc Angulo Innocenti
‘Nonni’ is named in honour of the winemaker’s great grandfathers, Pedro Angulo & Angel Innocenti, who were both vintners. Located in La Consulta, Uco Valley, the climate hosts cool sunny days turning into cool mountain nights. The Sauvignon Blanc grapes for ‘Nonni’ are planted to the double guyot trellising system on sandy soils containing round, calcareous rocks. The grapes are hand harvested and brought to winery where the wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks at 16°C using indigenous yeasts. Alcoholic fermentation then takes place over the course of 18 days with no malolactic fermentation or oak aging.
