Tombe du Ciel Nicolas Lebrun
Nicolas Lebrun is a trained Oenoligist. In 2005 he decided to open his own winery and bought land in Gaillac. Using his extensive knowledge in viticulture he follows biodynamic practices and natural winemaking.
He works with lesser-known indigenous grape varietals, both white and red that are unique to Gaillac. Tombe du Ciel is a red wine made form Prunelard and Braucol. This minimalistic approach to winemaking results in a fresh, vibrant and juicy red wine.
The South West of France is a region of many influences, so the climate can vary greatly. The Mediterranean brings warmth from the south, the Atlantic to the west brings a maritime influence and the Autan wind from the southeast, brings warm, dry air from Africa.
Clay and Limestone are the main soil types and local grapes thrive.
