What better way to ring in the official change of season than by spotlighting some of our favourite Beach Bag Bottles, the perfect pairings for sun, sandals, seashells and sunsets.

A breezy, delectable fizz to enjoy in the hot summer sun and with evening appetizers.

Llopart is a greatly admired, family-owned winery with a longstanding history in winemaking (and the 2nd oldest Cava producer!). Their Cava Brut Reserva is a blend of Maccabeu, Xarel-lo, Parellada, and Chardonnay.

This sparkler’s refreshing, bright acidity makes it a great companion to freshly shucked oysters, crudités, or, our favourite beach snack, a big bag of crunchy chips!


João Barbosa’s philosophy is to approach winemaking in the most hands-off, natural way possible. Special time and care are taken to select the grapes that will comprise this tasty wine; the result is a perfect blend of local grape varieties Viosinho, Moscatel Galego Branco & Rabigato.
 
Thirst-quenching and lively, this wine is defined by its saline and crushed seashell characteristics.  The dream come true for your beach day.

Produced by Arnaldo-Caprai, who is continuously celebrated for producing benchmark wines in Umbria, this blend of Sangiovese, Sagrantino and Merlot is driven by its fresh red fruit character, dried savoury herbs, and its sweet and smoky tobacco leaf aromas.

Red wine may not be the first thing that comes to your mind when you are thinking about bringing wine to the beach. But as the day ends, and you build a bonfire, this wine is a perfect accompaniment for your grilled sausages and the sunset.  (Don’t forget the s’mores!)
